Darkness fell upon the city, and like bats, dogs of the Celes pack came flooding out of the underground. It was like the darkness pulled the dogs from their hiding places, and called each one's name. This was the time that the young brute really felt like he belonged, and the darkness had grown on him. When he was younger he had stayed out during the day, trying to be the odd-ball, but mostly to advoid his parents and siblings. Now, since his father had been gone for a few days, and his mother had left to find him, he felt as if it was safe to explore the land before him.
Cooper eyes scanned the stairs that lead up into the main part of the city. Dogs of the Celes pack went quickly into the night. Some in pairs, and others alone. The brute knew he was going to be one of those lone dogs, and so, he stepped into the moonlight and made his way into full view of the world. A few dogs came up to him and said how they enjoyed seeing him out with the rest of the pack, and all he did was dip his head. Not one word was spoken between him and a member of his pack.
Shaking his thin, black pelt, Akoni felt a little more relaxed. It had been a few days since he had really come out of the underground, and that was because his mother had been a basketcase, trying to find where his father had been, and why he hadn't sent word as he usually did to her. The yearling hadn't really put two and two together yet, but he did feel something in his stomach, like something wasn't right. Again, cooper eyes difted the world around him, seeing that most of the dogs had gone on their own way. The feeling of being alone came over him, stronger than it had before and the brute sat, just looking up to the moon that was the sun to the Celes dogs.
